About The Job You Are Considering

This is a senior leadership role within Capgemini Invent's Financial Services practice, focused on Banking clients across North America.

 

As a Vice President, you will be responsible for building and scaling Capgemini Invent's Banking client relationships, partnering with senior client executives to shape strategy, drive large-scale transformation programs, and deliver measurable business value. You will operate as a trusted advisor to C-suite leaders across business, operations, technology, risk, and compliance organizations at some of the largest banks in the world.

 

You will lead growth across priority Banking accounts, owning senior client relationships, originating and selling complex consulting engagements, and overseeing high-impact delivery programs. The role combines relationship leadership, commercial leadership, people leadership, and delivery excellence, with a strong emphasis on being an end-to-end transformation partner to our banking clients.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Vice President in Capgemini Invent, you will help set direction, drive growth, model our values, and develop the next generation of leaders. Key expectations include:

  • Serving as a senior leader within the North America Financial Services leadership team, shaping account strategy, offerings, and investment priorities for Banking
  • Capitalizing on relationships already developed with large banks; identifying and building a strong network of contacts responsible for consulting/advisory programs, and extending our relationships so these institutions become key clients of Capgemini Invent
  • Building and managing a sustainable business development pipeline across Banking accounts, with accountability for significant annual consulting revenue
  • Establishing trusted, long-term relationships with C-suite and executive leaders, including COOs, CIOs, CDOs, CROs, CCOs, and Heads of Operations, Technology, and Transformation
  • Leading and coordinating Capgemini Invent's Banking offerings, tools, and assets across the wider ecosystem
  • Selling, leading, and overseeing large-scale, multi-disciplinary transformation programs for major banking clients
  • Creating thought leadership, propositions, and repeatable assets that reinforce Capgemini Invent's position as a trusted transformation partner in Banking

 
The Work:

 No matter the engagement, your work will have meaningful impact on financial institutions and their customers. You may lead or sponsor initiatives such as:

  • Core banking transformation, including modernization of billing, servicing, lending, and payments platforms
  • Enterprise-wide operating model redesign across retail, commercial, and corporate banking
  • Regulatory-driven change programs, including compliance, controls, and financial integrity initiatives
  • Digital and customer experience transformation across banking channels
  • Cost transformation and operational efficiency programs
  • Technology and platform modernization, including core system implementations and vendor/system integrator oversight
  • Projects will vary in size and scope, offering exposure to a wide range of strategic, operational, and transformation challenges across the Banking sector

 

Beyond Client Delivery:

In this role, you will also contribute to:

  • Business development: Proposals, pursuits, RFPs, client pitches, and industry events
  • Practice building: Recruitment, talent development, offering design, and internal communities of practice
  • Thought leadership: Industry points of view, whitepapers, and innovation initiatives
  • Learning & development: Continuous growth through training, certifications, and leadership development

Your Qualifications

We are looking for an established consulting leader eager to operate at the intersection of Banking strategy and large-scale transformation delivery.

You have:

  • Experience with a recognized consultancy, leading relationships with a large Financial Services client and managing significant programs; alternatively, experience as a senior member of an operational function within a bank
  • Good existing relationships with senior executives of major banks operating in the US
  • A proven track record of originating, selling, and delivering large-scale transformation programs for banking clients
  • Experience of program/project management, including oversight of multi-workstream, multi-vendor delivery
  • Demonstrated success operating within complex, matrixed organizations, enlisting support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions
  • High credibility, executive presence, and the ability to hold peer-level relationships at all levels of a client organization

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $250,000 - $350,000

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
