QE Lead with Salesforce
Your role
Looking to hire a Salesforce QE (Quality Engineering) Lead who will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of Salesforce applications and integrations by defining testing strategies, leading test execution, and driving quality practices across delivery teams.
- Lead the definition, development, and execution of functional and non-functional testing strategies, ensuring alignment with the Quality Engineering (QE) strategy.
- Take ownership and accountability for end-to-end testing delivery across value streams.
- Establish and standardise testing practices, ensuring adherence to the testing framework, including defined entry and exit criteria, quality gates, and test completion reporting.
- Champion Quality Engineering best practices and drive initiatives to achieve program-level QE objectives.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering Managers, Developers, Product Managers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts to understand business requirements and system functionality.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans covering system testing, end-to-end integration testing, and UAT/Business Process Testing in partnership with Delivery and Project Managers.
- Lead and coordinate end-to-end testing activities with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, adopting a hands-on approach when required.
- Create Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) test cases from business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
- Execute exploratory, functional, regression, and automated testing to validate software quality and business outcomes.
- Manage defect lifecycle activities, including logging, tracking, prioritisation, and ensuring timely resolution using defect management tools.
- Participate in code reviews, providing feedback to improve testability, quality, and maintainability of solutions.
- Maintain comprehensive test artefacts and documentation while ensuring compliance with established testing standards.
Your profile
- At least 8 years of experience in software testing as a lead.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge or experience in insurance or finance domains.
- QE experience in Salesforce and Genesys platforms.
- Ability to generate test reports covering metrics like test coverage, traceability, and defect leakage.
- Collaboration across platforms, effective delivery & team management and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to mentor others and promote best practices.

Remuneration for this role is structured in accordance with this award, with classification level and salary determined based on the successful candidate's experience and qualifications.
