Cloud Solution Architect

YOUR ROLE

As a Cloud Solution Architect, you will design and implement secure, high-performance and scalable cloud solutions on Azure or AWS. You will work closely with development teams to build cloud-native applications, ensure compliance, and optimize architectures for availability and performance. This role combines cloud solution design, security expertise, and hands-on development in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate secure, highly available cloud solutions on AWS or Azure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, or similar).
• Develop cloud‑native applications and APIs (REST & GraphQL) using Java (Spring Boot), Node.js, and event‑driven architectures with Kafka.
• Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes/OpenShift, ensuring scalability, performance, and cost optimization.
• Implement security best practices across all layers, aligned with OWASP guidelines and compliance standards.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines, optimizing development workflows with AI‑powered tools and automation.Use Redis and other technologies to enable high‑performance caching and real‑time data access.

YOUR PROFILE

• Strong experience designing cloud solutions on AWS or Azure, with hands‑on use of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, or similar).
• Solid backend development background using Java (Spring Boot), Node.js, and event‑driven architectures with Kafka.
• Proven experience with microservices and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift) and well‑established CI/CD pipelines.
• Good understanding of cloud and application security (OWASP principles, OAuth 2.0, SAML) and DevOps / DevSecOps practices; interest in integrating AI‑driven tools and features.
• Collaborative, customer‑oriented, and result‑driven, focused on delivering quality
• Fluent in Dutch and English (French is a plus).
