Platform Engineering Manager

The Opportunity

As Platform Engineering Manager - Neo within the Global Delivery Center, you will play a central role in building and scaling Capgemini’s Group-wide AI platform. Neo is a strategic initiative, and this role is key to ensuring that its AI platform capabilities are delivered with quality, reliability, and scalability at enterprise scale.

You will lead engineering teams responsible for developing and operating AI platform components, working closely with product, cloud, data, and change stakeholders. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine people leadership, technical excellence, and innovation, helping shape the future of AI adoption across Capgemini.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience leading platform engineering, cloud engineering, DevOps, SRE, or AI platform teams in complex enterprise environments
• Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts, MLOps practices, and model operationalization
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong technical background in Python or similar programming languages, with experience building and scaling platform services

A strong plus if you bring experience with MLOps tooling, distributed AI systems, open-source contributions, Kaggle participation, or GCP certifications.

Your Role

As Platform Engineering Manager for Neo, you will be responsible for leading engineering delivery while developing a high-performing team capable of building and operating AI-powered solutions at scale.

In this role, you will:

• Lead, coach, and develop the Neo engineering team, fostering technical excellence and a culture of continuous improvement
• Oversee the design, development, and evolution of Neo’s AI platform components, ensuring scalable and maintainable solutions
• Drive platform reliability, scalability, and performance in close collaboration with cloud engineering teams
• Establish and promote best practices for MLOps, model deployment, platform operations, and engineering delivery
• Partner closely with product, data, cloud, and change teams to align technical initiatives with business priorities and emerging AI use cases
• Ensure strong engineering governance, quality standards, and adherence to architectural principles
• Support roadmap planning, prioritization, and execution across multiple platform workstreams
• Foster collaboration and innovation across engineering teams to accelerate Neo’s growth and adoption
