Software Engineer - Angular Developer

This project focuses on the development of a modern, cross‑platform mobile application designed to support customer self‑service use cases.
Built with Ionic and Angular, the solution leverages an existing backend ecosystem while continuously expanding its mobile capabilities.
The goal is to deliver a reliable, user‑friendly mobile experience with a strong emphasis on maintainable mobile frontend architecture.

YOU WILL

  • Develop and extend a cross‑platform mobile application built with Ionic (core) and Angular, focusing on customer self‑service functionality
  • Work on an existing, production‑ready mobile frontend codebase, implementing new features and improving usability, performance, and maintainability
  • Collaborate closely with backend developers, testers, and UI/UX designers during analysis, implementation, and UAT phases
  • Translate business requirements and designs into clean, scalable mobile UI and frontend solutions in Ionic/Angular
  • Contribute to technical discussions and support the continuous evolution of the mobile frontend architecture
  • Take ownership of tasks and deliver reliably within a mixed agile development setup

YOU HAVE

  • Hands‑on, skill‑level experience with the Ionic framework (must‑have / key requirement)
  • Strong hands‑on experience with Angular (core framework knowledge is essential)
  • Proven experience building and maintaining cross‑platform mobile applications (iOS/Android) in an Ionic‑based environment
  • Solid understanding of modern frontend architecture, clean code principles, and maintainable UI design
  • Ability to work independently while being an effective team player in a multi‑role setup
  • Good communication skills and openness to working closely with UI/UX and business stakeholders
  • Medior to senior‑level experience, with a pragmatic and solution‑oriented mindset

 

This is a hybrid role requiring regular onsite presence (2 days per week) in Budapest.
Candidates must be currently based in Hungary and able to work onsite in Budapest.
