Your Role
 
  • As a Automation Engineer at Capgemini, you will contribute to the design, development, and execution of automated testing solutions that help deliver high-quality digital products and services.
  • Working as part of Agile, multidisciplinary teams, you will apply your technical expertise in test automation, API validation, and quality engineering to ensure reliable and scalable software solutions.
  • You are expected to work independently on assigned tasks, actively collaborate with team members, and continuously strengthen your technical and consulting capabilities while contributing to successful project outcomes.
  • Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
    Contribute to the enhancement of automation frameworks, testing standards, and quality engineering processes.
 
Your Profile
 
  • 2-4 years of experience in Selenium WebDriver automation using Java
  • Strong understanding of Core Java concepts, OOP principles, collections, exception handling, and test automation frameworks.
  • Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for web applications, ensuring high-quality and reliable test execution.
  • Hands-on experience in REST API testing using tools/frameworks such as Postman, Rest Assured, or similar
  • Strong knowledge of HTTP methods, request/response validation, authentication mechanisms, and API test automation.
  • Hands-on experience with GitHub/Git, including branch management, code commits, pull requests, code reviews, and merge conflict resolution in collaborative development environments.
  • Good knowledge of SQL with hands-on experience in writing complex queries, data validation, joins, aggregations, and backend database testing to support automation initiatives.
  • Advanced English level
  • Experience working in Agile environments
