YOUR ROLE
As a Senior Business Analyst, your role will be to drive complex, cross‑functional initiatives end‑to‑end, acting as a key bridge between business, product, and technology to shape and deliver valuable solutions.
- Lead complex, cross‑functional feature streams from discovery and elicitation through delivery and post‑go‑live validation.
- Facilitate design workshops, story mapping, and solution‑shaping sessions across multiple pods and stakeholders;
- Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional or technical specifications, running elicitation sessions independently;
- Own and manage the pod backlog with the Product Owner, ensuring readiness, prioritization, and dependency management, while unblocking delivery through hands‑on data and integration analysis;
- Contribute to the BA community by mentoring junior and experienced BAs, maintaining high‑quality documentation, and partnering closely with engineering, QA, architecture, and operations teams.
YOUR PROFILE
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, including at least 3 years in a senior or lead role, with a strong track record in agile/scrum environments within financial services (cards, payments, or banking preferred);
- Proven experience working in scaled agile setups (e.g. chapter / pod / crew models such as SAFe or Spotify), leading cross‑functional feature streams and representing BA perspectives in architecture and solution discussions;
- Strong hands‑on technical background, including API and integration design, data analysis (SQL), streaming and monitoring concepts, and the ability to investigate issues independently to unblock delivery;
- Full mastery of the core BA toolset (JIRA, Confluence, MS Office, draw.io), with the ability to produce clear, high‑quality documentation and actively maintain standards and ways of working;
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, a strong ownership mindset, and a collaborative, coaching‑oriented attitude; fluent German is a plus.
