SAP Managing Consultant (SD/MM)

YOUR ROLE
As an SAP Managing Consultant SD/MM, you will lead the design and delivery of SAP S/4HANA solutions, driving end‑to‑end transformation of order‑to‑cash and procure‑to‑pay processes while steering teams and client engagements to success.
- Client Advisory & Leadership: Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders; lead Explore/Design workshops, challenge business requirements, and define target processes and solution roadmaps;
- Solution Design & Governance: Own the end‑to‑end SD/MM solution design across S/4HANA (SD/OTC, MM/PTP), including pricing, billing, Advanced ATP, logistics execution, and procurement scenarios, ensuring alignment with SAP best practices and program governance;
- Delivery Oversight & Quality: Supervise configuration, functional specifications, and testing strategy; oversee SIT/UAT, ensure delivery quality, manage risks, and resolve complex functional issues;
- Cutover, Go‑Live & Adoption: Lead cutover strategy, go‑live execution, and hypercare; drive change management and enablement activities for key business users;
- Team & Capability Development: Manage and mentor consultants, contribute to knowledge sharing and asset development, and support presales activities and proposal creation in the SD/MM domain.
YOUR PROFILE
- SAP Expertise: 12+ years of experience in SAP SD/MM with extensive leadership on large‑scale S/4HANA transformations (Greenfield, Brownfield); deep end‑to‑end expertise across Order‑to‑Cash and Procure‑to‑Pay processes, including advanced usage of SAP Fiori roles and strategic OTC/PTP applications;
- Functional & Solution Authority: Recognized expert in Advanced ATP (aATP), Logistics Execution (LE), and complex Pricing (schemas, conditions, routines, outputs); ability to define target architectures, lead solution design decisions, and ensure alignment with SAP best practices and enterprise standards;
- Technical & Integration Acumen: Strong understanding of ABAP debugging concepts, IDocs/EDI and interface architectures; ability to challenge technical designs, anticipate integration risks, and secure end‑to‑end process integrity across SD/MM and adjacent domains;
- Program & Delivery Leadership: Proven track record of leading global delivery teams across multiple workstreams; full ownership of SIT/UAT strategy, cutover readiness, go‑live execution, hypercare, and quality governance in complex, multi‑country programs;
- Executive Communication & Leadership: Fluent in German and English; strong executive‑level communication skills, trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, with the autonomy to drive decisions, mentor senior consultants, contribute to presales, and shape SAP SD/MM offerings.
