Senior Structural Engineer - Aircraft Structures (f/m/d)

Key responsibilities

• Perform static, fatigue and damage-tolerance analyses for metallic and composite aircraft structures
• Develop, review and validate finite-element models and analytical calculations
• Perform structural sizing, strength assessment, buckling, joint and fastener analyses
• Prepare structural substantiation, stress and certification reports
• Support non-conformities, concessions, repairs and manufacturing deviations
• Define, support and evaluate structural and qualification tests
• Work closely with design, production, testing, suppliers and certification stakeholders
• Review structural-analysis deliverables and ensure compliance with applicable aerospace standards

Your profile

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a comparable discipline
• Several years of hands-on structural-analysis experience in the aviation or aerospace industry
• Strong experience with aircraft primary or secondary structures
• Practical experience with metallic and/or composite structures
• Strong knowledge of static analysis and structural substantiation
• Experience with fatigue and damage tolerance is highly desirable
• Experience preparing technical, compliance or certification documentation
• Confident working independently and across engineering disciplines
• English at C1 level; German is an advantage
• Willingness to work predominantly on-site in Stans
• Swiss work authorisation or a realistic EU/EFTA work-permit route
