SWISS - Senior Aircraft Design Engineer (f/m/d)

Key responsibilities

• Design and modify cockpit structures, cabin installations and associated mechanical components
• Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, drawings and product definitions using Siemens NX
• Develop solutions for metallic and composite parts, brackets, panels, supports and installation interfaces
• Manage installation spaces, clearances, accessibility and interfaces with surrounding systems
• Apply GD&T, manufacturing requirements and design-for-assembly principles
• Support design reviews, production issues, non-conformities and configuration activities in Teamcenter

Your profile

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a comparable discipline
• Minimum five years of hands-on aircraft design or systems-installation experience
• Strong practical experience with Siemens NX and preferably Teamcenter
• Experience in cockpit structures, cabin systems installation or a closely related aircraft-design area- Experience in cockpit structures, cabin systems installation or a closely related aircraft-design area
• Good understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T and aerospace manufacturing processes
• Fluency in English and willingness to work mostly on-site in the Lucerne area
