Senior Software Delivery & Engineering Manager

YOUR PROJECT:

We are looking for an experienced senior delivery and engineering manager to lead a large custom application delivery organization in Poland, operating as part of an international delivery setup.

The role focuses on managing teams responsible for the delivery, modernization, and operation of business‑critical software systems for enterprise clients.
This position combines people leadership, delivery accountability, and organizational development, without expectations of hands‑on technical work.

YOUR TASKS:

• Lead a sizeable custom application delivery organization in Poland;
• Execute the local delivery and capability strategy in alignment with global standards;
• Build and develop management layers and senior delivery roles;
• Take responsibility for delivery performance, quality, and predictability;
• Drive leadership development, succession planning, and team engagement;
• Support client relationships, key engagements, and pre‑sales activities;
• Collaborate with international counterparts and peer delivery organizations;
• Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery models and ways of working.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Experience in a senior management role (e.g. Delivery Manager, Practice Manager, Engineering Manager, Operations Manager);
• Strong background in people management and organizational leadership;
• Proven ability to manage large teams and multiple delivery units;
• Good understanding of software delivery and IT services environments;
• Experience working in international or matrix organizations.
