YOUR ROLE

As Performance test engineer you focus on the validation of the performance aspect (response timers, peak load) of applications. You are involved in the automated verification and validation of the performance aspect of system under test.

YOUR TASKS

• Design, develop, and execute performance test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Configure test environments and performance testing tools to simulate real-world user load and transactions.
• Monitor system performance metrics during tests and identify performance bottlenecks.
• Analyze test results and provide recommendations for performance improvements.
• Identify and address issues with test environment setup, availability, performance, and compatibility.
• Monitor and maintain the health and stability of test environments.
• Work closely with development and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues.
• Collaborate with architects and developers to design and implement performance optimizations.
• Create performance test reports and documentation for stakeholders.

YOUR PROFILE

• Proven experience as a performance tester or similar role.
• Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Experience with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, Gatling, or similar.
• Working experience in Dynatrace and Splunk
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Knowledge of web technologies, APIs, databases, and network protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Relevant certifications such as ISTQB Certified Tester, Certified Performance Testing Professional (CPTP), or similar are a plus.
• Knowledge about Scrum, Agile.
• Knowledge of tools like TFS, Jira, Service Now or any other equivalent.
