Capgemini Testing Service Line provides Testing and related Environment/DevOps services to various financial clients. This service produces clearly identifiable results, notably the reduction in the cost of software development and maintenance by up to 30%, enhanced quality levels, improved time to market, and importantly mitigation of technical and business risks.

You are a Test Manager who is able to provide end‑to‑end testing assurance across the Digital Backbone programme, including the migration of Institutional Onboarding and Foreign Currency Institutional Lending from two NZ‑specific legacy systems into three Group‑managed institutional platforms. You will be accountable for defining and executing an integrated test strategy, overseeing SIT and end‑to‑end testing, and guiding UAT, with a strong focus on NZ downstream system impacts. You will be a technically strong Test Manager with experience in complex banking transformations, able to influence across teams and manage cross‑system and cross‑stream risk.

Required Skills & Attributes
• Experienced Test Manager with strong core test management capability, including test strategy definition, planning, execution oversight, and risk based assurance
• Demonstrated experience delivering end to end testing across complex, integrated banking platforms
• Comfortable leading and guiding teams through all levels of testing, including System Integration Testing (SIT), End to End testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Proven ability to identify and manage cross system and cross stream risks, beyond individual application or delivery scope
• Strong influencing and communication skills to bring together downstream system owners, delivery teams, and internal consumers without direct line management
• Strong technical testing background, with the ability to understand and challenge system integrations, data flows, and downstream impacts
• Knowledge of the ANZ technology landscape, including integrations and legacy systems, would be an asset
Good to Have
• Understanding of institutional onboarding, KYC, and client lifecycle processes
• Experience with institutional lending processes
• Understanding of New Zealand regulatory requirements impacting onboarding and lending
