Your Role

At Capgemini, our Testing Services team partners with leading financial services organisations to deliver high-quality testing, quality engineering, and DevOps solutions that help businesses innovate with confidence. Our work drives measurable outcomes, including faster time-to-market, improved software quality, reduced delivery costs, and the mitigation of business and technology risk.

 

We're looking for a Mobile Application Test Engineer who is passionate about quality, automation, and continuous improvement. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative mobile applications within a collaborative Agile environment, where you'll have a direct impact on the customer experience and software delivery outcomes.

As part of a high-performing team, you'll design, build, and maintain automated test suites for mobile applications, while contributing to the development of scalable test frameworks and reusable automation utilities. You'll collaborate closely with developers, product owners, business stakeholders, and fellow quality engineers to deliver robust, solution-focused outcomes.

 

You'll also play a key role in advancing our automation capability by supporting CI/CD pipelines, identifying opportunities to improve testing tools and processes, and championing best practices across the software delivery lifecycle. Your Experience

  • Minimum 5 years software testing experience with at least 3 years in Test Automation
  • Proven working experience with XCUITest, Espresso, Appium, CI/CD tools like Jenkins Pipeline, Fastlane.
  • Proficient in at least one programming language: Swift, Kotlin, Java, JavaScript, Groovy, etc.
  • Hands-on experience testing mobile applications across various devices and OS platforms
  • Experience with UI testing for mobile applications
  • Familiarity with continuous integration environments
  • Working knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipeline
  • Experience in managing end to end test life cycle including Planning, design, execution, defect management and test reporting
  • Ideally any banking or finanical services experience
  • Proven problem-solving ability
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-managing and a self-starter

 

Please note: To be considered for this role, you ideally need to be located in Wellington to work onsite 3-4 days per week due to the scale of the project. This role can not be done remotely.
