Procurement Operations Junior Specialist (with English)

Your role
In this role, you will be responsible for processing Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and converting them into accurate and compliant Purchase Orders (POs), ensuring alignment with internal procurement policies and approval workflows. You will monitor and validate PO preparation to confirm that all orders reflect the outcomes of supplier negotiations, meet budgetary guidelines, and comply with organizational and Client quality standards. Acting as a first‑line point of contact, you will provide helpdesk support to internal stakeholders and suppliers, resolving standard procurement‑related queries and escalating more complex issues in line with established procedures. Additionally, you will manage procurement tickets within the ticketing system and maintain regular communication with external suppliers via email and phone to clarify order details, obtain missing information, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
Your tasks
- Processes Purchase Requisitions (PR) and converts them into Purchase Orders (PO) by verifying completeness, accuracy and compliance with internal procurement policies; releases finalized POs for the appropriate approval workflow.
- Monitors and validates the preparation of Purchase Orders to ensure they reflect the outcomes of final supplier negotiations and comply with organizational standards, budget guidelines, and Client quality requirements.
- Provides first-line helpdesk support for internal stakeholders and suppliers by resolving basic procurement‑related queries; escalates complex issues to senior team members following established escalation procedures.
- Manages procurement tickets using the ticketing system and communicates with external suppliers via email and phone to clarify order details, request missing information, and ensure timely issue resolution.
Your profile
- Previous experience in the Operational Procurement/Customer Service/Sales Support at least 6 months.
- Strong communication in English B2 / C1
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - very good Customer Service skills and client-focus attitude
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; SAP/Ariba experience as an asset
- Ability to manage priorities, deadlines and tasks in order to accomplish goals
