Head of Supply Chain Operations
Your Role
As a Supply Chain Head of Operations, you will lead a large-scale Supply Chain Hub, ensuring operational excellence, client satisfaction, and sustainable business growth. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end service delivery across supply chain planning and logistics operations, driving performance against business objectives, service commitments, and transformation goals.
Acting as a trusted partner to senior client stakeholders, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality services while creating an environment that fosters collaboration, continuous improvement, and employee engagement. You will play a key role in shaping the future of the Supply Chain Hub through operational leadership, talent development, and strategic decision-making.
Your Tasks

Lead the day-to-day operations of a large-scale Supply Chain Hub, ensuring the effective delivery of planning and logistics services in line with contractual commitments and business objectives.

Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring alignment between operational performance and evolving business needs.

Drive service excellence by monitoring and improving key performance indicators, service level agreements, quality standards, productivity targets, and customer satisfaction metrics.

Oversee financial performance of the engagement, including budget management, resource planning, cost optimisation, and identification of efficiency opportunities.

Lead, develop, and inspire a large operational organisation, fostering a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, employee engagement, and continuous learning.

Identify, prioritise, and execute transformation initiatives that enhance service delivery, improve processes, and support the long-term evolution of the Supply Chain Hub.

Ensure effective governance, risk management, compliance, and information security standards across all areas of the operation.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and Capgemini leadership to drive innovation, best-practice adoption, and continuous improvement across supply chain operations.
Your Profile
- Extensive experience in supply chain operations, with strong expertise in Supply Chain Planning, Logistics, or broader Consumer Goods Supply Chain processes.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale operational teams and managers in complex service delivery environments, including organisations of 150+ employees.
- Strong understanding of key supply chain performance metrics, operational excellence methodologies, and service delivery management principles.
- Experience managing executive-level client relationships, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and build long-term strategic partnerships.
- Demonstrated success in leading business transformation, process improvement, and organisational change initiatives within global or regional operations.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including experience with budget management, productivity improvement, and operational cost optimisation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity, make informed decisions, and drive outcomes in dynamic environments.
- Fluent English and outstanding communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
