YOUR ROLE

As a Data Governance Manager/Senior Manager, you will be a key leader in our Data Governance practice. You will guide our clients through the design and implementation of robust data governance frameworks, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance. You will have the opportunity to shape our team's direction, mentor junior consultants, and contribute to the growth of our practice.

YOUR TASKS

• Lead and manage data governance engagements for clients across various industries, including FS, Automotive, Energy & Utilities, Tech, FMCG, and Pharma.
• Lead and manage data governance engagements for clients across various industries, incorporating modern data architectures like Data Mesh and Federated Databases.
• Develop and implement data governance strategies, frameworks, policies, and procedures that align with DAMA-DMBOK best practices and address the unique challenges of Data Mesh and Federated Databases.
• Evaluate and recommend cloud-based data governance solutions (e.g., AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, Google Cloud Data Catalog) to enhance data management capabilities.
• Define and measure key data governance metrics to track progress and demonstrate value.
• Conduct data maturity assessments and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide thought leadership and contribute to the development of our data governance offerings.
• Mentor and coach junior team members.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in data governance.

YOUR PROFILE

• 6+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or a related field, with a strong consulting background.
• Deep understanding of data governance principles, methodologies, and best practices (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK). Understanding of Data Mesh and Federated Database concepts
• Experience with data governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica).
• Proven ability to lead and manage complex projects.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in one or more of the preferred industries (FS, Automotive, Energy & Utilities, Tech, FMCG, Pharma) is highly desirable.
