Your role

As a Technical Writer at Capgemini Engineering, you will play a crucial role in translating complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly documentation. You'll work closely with subject matter experts to create high-quality content that meets industry standards and client requirements, particularly in the wind industry.In this role you will play a key role in:

• Creating user documentation and work instructions for a variety of materials/objects in the wind industry
• Explaining technical ideas in simple, accessible language for diverse audiences
• Developing consistent DITA-compliant content using XML and content management systems
• Driving alignment, validation, and review processes for documentation with relevant stakeholders
• Ensuring full compliance with existing style guides and other task-relevant guidelines 

Your profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Languages, Literature, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar field
• 3-5 years of experience in technical writing, preferably in an engineering environment
• Strong XML knowledge and experience working with Content Management Systems (CMS)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to understand and simplify highly technical information
• Experience with Simplified Technical English (STE) and topic-based/minimalistic writing
• Adaptability and strong collaboration skills to work effectively with technical teams
