Your Profile

• Good understanding of firmware and embedded systems architectures (general knowledge is sufficient; firmware development experience is not required).
• Knowledge of embedded hardware, including ARM processors (or equivalent), communication protocols (PI, I2C, parallel), and debug interfaces (JTAG, SWD).
• Familiarity with IoT devices, connected systems, and edge computing.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including Ethernet, TCP/IP, UDP, and related protocols.
• Ability to identify potential security risks by thinking like an attacker.
• Experience identifying vulnerabilities and attack surfaces in embedded and IoT systems, including hardware and firmware.
• Understanding of common security threats in embedded environments, such as physical attacks, hardware manipulation, and bus sniffing.
• Knowledge of security risk assessment methodologies, including ISO 27005 principles.
• Familiarity with Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) for industrial or IoT environments.
• Ability to perform and document security risk assessments.

Nice to have: 

• Knowledge of ASPICE 4.0 and ISO 26262 (Functional Safety).
