YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a skilled Illustrator to produce clear, engaging visuals for our technical documentation. You will collaborate with engineers, technical writers, and product managers to transform complex technical concepts into accurate and visually appealing illustrations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visual Creation: Develop high‑quality diagrams, schematics, and illustrations for wind turbine components and systems.
  • Cross‑Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, writers, and product managers to understand and visualize technical specifications.
  • Brand & Quality Consistency: Ensure all visuals follow Vestas’ branding and technical standards.
  • Documentation Support: Integrate illustrations into manuals and other technical documents in cooperation with the documentation team.
  • Revisions: Update and refine visuals based on feedback and evolving project needs.
  • Asset Management: Maintain a digital library of illustrations and templates.
  • Design Review: Participate in reviews and contribute to visual communication best practices.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Illustration, Technical Communication, or a related field. 

  • Technical Illustration Experience: Demonstrated experience in creating technical illustrations, preferably in engineering or industrial contexts. 

  • Software Proficiency: Strong skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other design tools; familiarity with CAD drawing interpretation is a plus. 

  • Attention to Detail: Ability to transform complex technical concepts into clear, concise visuals. 

  • Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams. 

  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the energy or manufacturing sector, especially in wind energy, is advantageous.
