Java Full-Stack Software Engineer

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Java Full-Stack Developer to join our growing software engineering team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-grade applications, working across both backend and frontend layers. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions while following software development best practices and modern architectural principles.

As part of an innovative and collaborative environment, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects, contribute to technical decisions, and support the continuous evolution of digital platforms in complex enterprise environments.

What you can expect in the role:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Develop modern and responsive frontend applications using technologies such as Angular, React, Vue.js, or Vaadin.
  • Design, implement, and consume RESTful APIs.
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, testers, and product stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Work with PostgreSQL and other relational databases to ensure efficient and reliable data management.
  • Apply software engineering best practices, including clean code principles, testing, and code reviews.
  • Contribute to application architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
  • Participate in troubleshooting, performance optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support the modernization and evolution of existing applications and platforms.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
  • Strong frontend development experience with Angular, React, Vue.js, Vaadin, or similar modern frameworks.
  • Experience designing, developing, and consuming REST APIs.
  • Solid experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
  • Good understanding of enterprise application architectures, design patterns, and software development best practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in collaborative and international environments.
  • Experience with Java 21 and/or Java migration projects. (Nice to Have)
  • Experience developing applications with Vaadin. (Nice to Have)
  • Knowledge of Flyway, RabbitMQ, and Redis. (Nice to Have)
  • Experience working with Maven multi-module applications. (Nice to Have)
  • Previous experience in healthcare or other highly regulated and complex enterprise environments. (Nice to Have)
