Job Description
Developers develop, test and integrate applications, frameworks and tools in a controlled environment. With expertise in a specific technology environment, they are responsible for software-specific design and realization, as well as testing, deployment and release management or technical application management of client-specific package based solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead user access operations across multiple platforms and applications, ensuring timely provisioning, de provisioning, and access changes
- Own CMDB data quality processes: discovery validation, CI reconciliation, attribute completeness, relationship accuracy, and deduplication
- Coordinate cross functional efforts with Security, Identity, Infrastructure, App Owners, and Service Management to resolve access and CMDB issues
- Perform periodic access reviews (quarterly/annual SOX/ISO), role certification campaigns, and remediation tracking
- Establish and enforce RBAC/ABAC alignment, least privilege practices, and segregation of duties (SoD) guardrails with application teams
- Drive CMDB governance: define data standards, naming conventions, required fields, lifecycle states, and CI onboarding guidelines
- Analyze tickets and perform root cause analysis for recurring access failures, entitlement drift, and CMDB data defects; implement permanent fixes
- Build and maintain automation for access reporting, entitlement inventories, and CMDB validation checks (e.g., scripts, scheduled jobs)
- Create and maintain audit ready evidence: access attestations, change logs, reconciliation reports, and CMDB data quality scorecards
- Support incident, problem, and change management processes with strict SLA adherence and high quality documentation
- Partner with DevOps/Platform admins to integrate discovery and identity sources (e.g., AD/Entra ID, HRIS, SCCM/Intune, cloud inventories) into CMDB
- Develop and maintain operational runbooks, SOPs, access request workflows, and CI data maintenance procedures
- Provide technical mentorship to intermediate/junior team members on access operations, CMDB practices, and audit expectations
- Communicate status, risks, and remediation plans to stakeholders and audit/compliance teams with clear, data backed updates
- Provide afternoon shift coverage for access requests, CMDB updates, incidents, and audit support, with clear end of day handoffs
Required Skills & Experiences:
- 5+ years in application support/maintenance with a focus on user access management and CMDB governance/audit
- Strong experience with identity and access operations: joiner mover leaver processes, group/role management, approvals, and evidence collection
- Hands on knowledge of CMDB platforms (e.g., ServiceNow CMDB) including discovery sources, CI classes, relationships, and data quality rules
- Proficiency with directory and identity services (Entra ID/Azure AD, AD groups, Conditional Access concepts) and application role models
- Solid understanding of control frameworks and audits: SOX, ISO 27001, SOC 2, access certifications, and SoD controls
- Experience creating automation and reports (PowerShell, Python, SQL, or platform scripts) for access and CMDB validation
- Ability to analyze logs and data (SQL queries, CMDB health dashboards, export reviews) to identify discrepancies and remediate quickly
- Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident/Problem/Change), ticketing tools (ServiceNow, JIRA), and evidence management practices
- Knowledge of discovery/inventory tooling (SCCM/Intune, cloud resource inventories, ServiceNow Discovery/Patterns) and CI reconciliation
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills for cross functional coordination and audit interactions
- Strong documentation discipline: SOPs, runbooks, RACI, data standards, and audit artifacts
Nice to Have:
- ServiceNow Admin/ITAM/ITOM exposure, Entra ID/AD admin experience, ITIL Foundation, security fundamentals certification
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $70,751-165,984 CAD.
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
