Your Role
As a Systems Engineer at Capgemini Engineering, you'll work across diverse domains including defense, energy, and infrastructure, helping clients optimize their engineering processes and system integration. In this role, you will play a key role in:
- Engaging in long-term client assignments that allow you to develop deep domain expertise and deliver substantial value
- Clarifying client needs and objectives to develop solutions that are effective, efficient, safe, and meet user expectations
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design system architectures that integrate various subsystems
- Applying systems engineering methodologies to improve project efficiency, communication, risk management, and cost control
- Contributing to knowledge sharing through Capgemini-wide sessions and staying current with developments through our Centre of Excellence Digital Engineering
- Supporting the development of junior team members and participating in our systems engineering community
- Leveraging your technical expertise and interpersonal skills to bridge the gap between technology and human interaction
Your Profile
- At least a higher professional education (HBO) level
- Proficiency in both Dutch and English, both written and verbal
- Minimum of two years of experience applying systems engineering methodologies
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in an accessible way to various stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify organizational needs through probing questions and active listening
- Experience with systems modeling languages (like SysML) and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools
- Knowledge of requirements management tools such as DOORS
- Collaborative mindset with a passion for continuous learning and knowledge sharing

Good to know
- Salary range: €50,000 - €90,000 per year, based on your experience and expertise level
- Immediate permanent contract and appropriate salary. Capgemini contributes to your mobility and pension.
- A tailored training program to further develop in (digital) systems engineering.
- We encourage a 40-hour work week, but it's also possible to work 36, 32, or even 24 hours per week. This offers maximum flexibility and the ability to balance work and private life.
