YOUR ROLE
As a Software Engineer – OT Integration & Industrial Systems at Capgemini Engineering, you will design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions that bridge the gap between IT and Operational Technology (OT). You’ll work on projects such as the implementation and upgrade of Aspentech OSI Monarch platforms, integrating industrial systems with modern cloud-native architectures.
In this role, you will:
- Implement and upgrade Aspentech OSI Monarch platforms in Linux environments.
- Develop and integrate software components using C# or C++, connecting OT systems with enterprise platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interface with SCADA systems, WAMS/PMU, and other industrial technologies.
- Design and deploy cloud-native solutions using Kubernetes, Kafka, and containerized microservices.
- Apply industrial standards such as IEC 61131-3 to ensure compliance and reliability.
- Support system testing, validation, and troubleshooting across IT/OT boundaries.
- Contribute to internal tools and documentation that improve integration workflows and system resilience.
YOUR PROFILE
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with exposure to cloud-native development and industrial system integration.
- Strong proficiency in C# or C++, and experience working in Linux environments.
- Familiarity with Operational Technology (OT) systems in manufacturing, energy, or transportation sectors.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Kafka, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
- Understanding of SCADA systems, WAMS/PMU, and industrial protocols such as IEC 61131-3.
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with a passion for bridging IT and OT domains.
