What you'll be working on as Senior SCADA Engineer

As a Senior SCADA Engineer specializing in Wonderware/AVEVA System Platform, you will serve as a subject matter expert, maintaining the platform and managing the project from a technical point of view. This role is for our projects within the pharmaceutical industry. You will be responsible for leading migration projects from older to newer versions of Wonderware/AVEVA System Platform, ensuring all work meets pharma industry (GMP) standards and client expectations. You will play a key role in:

• Managing the full project lifecycle of Wonderware/AVEVA System Platform migrations, including planning, execution, testing, and documentation according to GMP standards
• Leading technical teams and coordinating with clients and third-party vendors to ensure successful project delivery
• Developing and implementing testing strategies to validate system functionality and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Creating and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation for all aspects of the SCADA system
• Implementing, testing & maintaining various industrial communication protocols for vertical and horizontal integration between systems.
• Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members on SCADA implementations
• Serving as the primary technical point of contact for clients on matters related to Wonderware/AVEVA System Platform

Your Profile

As you are working with critical pharmaceutical client equipment, you are expected to be solid experience with industrial automation systems, with specific expertise in Wonderware/AVEVA System Platform. Knowledge of GMP standards is preferred, yet can be trained. Other important requirements relevant to this role are:

• Demonstrated ability to lead migration projects for SCADA systems
• Strong technical knowledge on integration from L0 to L3 systems according to ISA-95
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage client relationships and coordinate with third-party vendors, and to take initiative in challenging situations
• Experience in creating technical documentation that meets pharmaceutical industry standards

• A gross salary between €4.000 and €5.500 per month, plus a mobility allowance of €850 and 8% holiday allowance (based on a 40-hour workweek).

With over 200 colleagues, our Manufacturing & Industrial Operations department offers significant and meaningful contributions to various organisations in The Netherlands and occasionally abroad.
