YOUR ROLE

As a senior MES Engineer specializing in Siemens Opcenter Execution at Capgemini, you will work on transforming production environments into smart factories.

Your responsibilities will include:

• You will typically support the automation team in the design and integration of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) that enable real-time data processing, automation, and operational excellence.
• Designing interfaces between MES and ERP systems to improve data flow and operational coordination.
• Ensure compliance with best practices for MES development and integration, to meet project and industry requirements.
• Developing manufacturing recipes following ISA95 standards to ensure seamless and efficient operations.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate project requirements and develop IT documentation for MES systems.

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for candidates who thrive in dynamic engineering environments and are naturally curious about automation in (highly regulated) industries. The ideal person possesses a proactive, result-driven mindset and demonstrates resilience under pressure, especially during the critical phases of complex manufacturing projects.

To excel in this role, you should have:

• Proven hands-on experience in MES, Historian systems, and Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM).
• A strong understanding of batch processes and data integration.
• Experience with Siemens Opcenter Execution modeling is essential, experience in the pharmaceutical industry is an asset.
• Strong communication skills with excellent teamwork abilities to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and understand client needs.
• The capability to guide and mentor the technical team in design, coding, integration, configuration, deployment, and best practices.
