Senior Java & Angular Full Stack Engineer

As a Senior Java and Angular Full Stack Engineer, you will design and deliver scalable digital solutions for leading organisations across multiple industries. You will combine deep Java backend expertise with modern Angular front-end development, while taking technical ownership throughout the delivery lifecycle. In addition to hands-on engineering, you will guide development teams, facilitate technical decision-making and work directly with clients to translate business needs into clear, achievable technology solutions. 

• Design, build and maintain scalable, high-performance full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot or Quarkus, Angular and TypeScript. 

• Lead engineering teams in day-to-day technical delivery by setting direction, coordinating priorities, reviewing solutions and helping colleagues resolve complex challenges. 

• Engage directly with clients and key stakeholders to clarify requirements, align expectations, explain technical choices and provide transparent updates on progress, risks and dependencies. 

• Develop production-ready Angular applications and integrate them seamlessly with Java-based backend services through REST and asynchronous APIs. 

• Define and safeguard engineering standards using Domain-Driven Design, SOLID principles and Clean Architecture, while promoting code quality, security, maintainability and reliable delivery. 

• Shape cloud-native and event-driven solutions using Docker and Kubernetes, strengthen observability with OpenTelemetry, Grafana and Prometheus, and support troubleshooting of complex production issues. 

• Use AI-powered coding assistants responsibly to improve engineering productivity, and foster a collaborative culture through mentoring, pair programming, knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

You have: 

• At least 8 years of professional software development experience, with substantial experience delivering enterprise-grade full-stack applications, distributed systems and cloud-native solutions. 

• Deep hands-on expertise in Java and Spring Boot or Quarkus, combined with proven professional experience building production-ready applications with Angular and TypeScript. Both Java and Angular are core requirements for this role. 

• Demonstrable experience leading or technically guiding software engineering teams, including coordinating delivery, mentoring colleagues, reviewing technical solutions and driving engineering standards. 

• Confidence working directly with clients and senior stakeholders, with the ability to facilitate requirement and solution discussions, manage expectations and communicate complex technical topics clearly to technical and non-technical audiences. 

• Strong experience with database modelling, API design, Docker, Kubernetes, observability and production troubleshooting, alongside knowledge of Domain-Driven Design, SOLID principles, Clean Architecture and event-driven architectures. 

• Daily hands-on experience with AI-powered coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor or Gemini, together with a pragmatic, collaborative and ownership-driven mindset. Experience with additional languages such as Node.js, Python or Golang is an advantage.

• A gross salary between €4.000 and €5.900 per month, plus a mobility allowance of €850 and 8% holiday allowance (based on a 40-hour workweek).
