What you'll be working on as a Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) Consultant
As a Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) Consultant within Capgemini Financial Services, you help leading banks, insurers, pension administrators, and regulators strengthen their resilience in an increasingly complex regulatory environment. You act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, helping organizations transform Financial Crime Compliance frameworks by connecting regulation, operating models, governance, data, technology, and change management into sustainable business outcomes.
You will play a key role in helping clients address challenges related to Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF), Sanctions, Know Your Customer (KYC), Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Transaction Monitoring, and emerging regulatory requirements through pragmatic and scalable transformation initiatives.
In this role you will be working on:
- Shaping FCC strategies and designing target operating models covering governance, people, processes, data, and technology
- Leading complex transformation programs across KYC/CDD, Transaction Monitoring, Sanctions, Screening, SIRA, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory Remediation
- Performing gap analyses, maturity assessments, and risk reviews to identify opportunities for improvement, developing strategic roadmaps that translate regulatory expectations into practical and measurable actions
- Supporting the adoption of AI, Data, and RegTech solutions while ensuring governance, model risk management, and audit readiness
- Advising senior executives and compliance leaders on regulatory developments, risk mitigation, and operational effectiveness
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships while contributing to business development initiatives.
Your profile
You have:
- A completed Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Law, Criminology, Risk Management, or a related field with 4-7+ years of consulting experience within Financial Services
- Deep expertise in Financial Crime Compliance, including AML/CTF, Sanctions, KYC/CDD, Transaction Monitoring, and SIRA
- Experience designing and implementing FCC operating models, governance frameworks, and control environments
- Familiarity with AI, RegTech, data-driven compliance solutions, and their application within FCC domains
- Strong stakeholder management skills and experience engaging with senior management and executive leadership, proactive, resilient, and solution-oriented mindset with a strong focus on integrity and collaboration
- Fluency in Dutch and English, professional certifications such as CAMS, ICA, or related qualifications are considered a plus
- The ability to critically assess AI-generated outputs and translate them into practical business solutions
