Executive Solution Architect
Role Purpose
Client facing role owning solution and transformation narrative across Pharma late stage R&D and Drug Development in Capgemini NCE SBU. The role focuses on shaping large-scale R&D and clinical transformation deals, enabling clients to accelerate innovation, reduce development timelines, and improve probability of success; in this bringing together the capabilities from across Capgemini business lines and leveraging latest technologies, incl. Agentic AI
Domain Scope
- Translational Research
- Clinical Development (Phases I–III)
- Clinical Operations, Data Management, Biostatistics
- R&D platforms, digital lab, AI/ML in R&D
- Regulatory interactions impacting development
Key Responsibilities
- Shape and co-own strategic pursuits with Sales and Account teams, acting as the lead domain solution authority
- Define end-to-end target architectures combining business, technology, and operating model perspectives.
- Lead client-facing visioning, roadmap, and solution-definition workshops with senior stakeholders.
- Articulate clear value propositions and business cases linked to measurable outcomes.
- Lead functional domain squad from different Capgemini business lines in domain scope in NCE LS Domain sales hub
- Contribute to Capgemini’s domain-specific point of view, offers, and go-to-market messaging
- Partner with global domain industry leads and delivery teams to create reusable solution assets and patterns.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in the Life Sciences industry and/or Life Sciences consulting with focus in domain scope
- Proven track record in shaping and supporting large, complex, multi-year transformation deals
- Strong Life Sciences domain credibility with senior business and IT stakeholders
- Experience translating business strategy into compelling solution visions and architectures
- Deep expertise in AI and Agentic AI application in domain scope
- Ability to engage credibly at C-suite and senior executive level
- Strong understanding of regulated environments and compliance expectations
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to operate in ambiguous situations and shape solutions where no blueprint exists
