ISS (Infrastructure Security Services) is a critical component of Capgemini's Group IT function, which supports and partners with the business to enable efficiency and profitability. ISS integrates various security services, including Contextual Access (SWG, CASB, ZTNA), Identity and Access Management (IGA, AM and PAM), Micro Segmentation, SIEM, SOAR and Endpoint Security, to ensure a secure and resilient IT environment, which operates in line with Capgemini’s Zero Trust framework.
The Opportunity
As the Contextual Access Tower Lead, you will be responsible for operating and supporting key technologies that support Capgemini’s Zero Trust strategy. This includes the operation and support of our global Zscaler platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operational leadership, extensive experience with managing security tools and a proven track record of successfully leading improvement initiatives in a complex organization. The Zero Trust architecture and supporting technology implemented at Capgemini is market leading within the sector. This role will require you to communicate with clients this strategy and what is delivered in the Contextual Access space.
Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership to the Contextual Access tower, managing multiple teams with various responsibilities (including run & build teams). This encompasses people management tasks such as performance management, development, and recruitment.
- Offer technical leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and collaboration.
- Ensure the operation of key technologies aligns with defined SLAs.
- Coordinate key technical operational activities such as Disaster Recovery testing.
- Measure and report on performance against SLAs and KPIs, communicating results to senior management and stakeholders.
- Manage end-to-end delivery of functionality from the Zscaler platform.
- Coordinate changes, developments, and improvements to the Zscaler platform.
- Lead and implement technology and process enhancements, demonstrating value to stakeholders.
- Coordinate with large international vendors to ensure feature requests are managed.
- Keep abreast of emerging trends, tools, and technologies in Zero Trust, recommending solutions to drive continuous improvement.
- Develop metrics, dashboards, and reports to measure the effectiveness of Contextual Access and automation initiatives, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Automate repetitive tasks to enhance scalability and reduce manual intervention.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities, define requirements, and prioritize initiatives based on business impact.
- Identify, communicate, and mitigate operational risks.
- Establish best practices, standards, governance frameworks, and processes.
- Work with the Group Cybersecurity team in case of Cybersecurity incidents
- Communicate and manage a variety of senior and technical stakeholders.
- Communicate towards clients of our internal implementation of Capgemini’s Zero Trust initiative
Our Ideal Candidate
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in IT operations, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience managing a technical operations team in a large organization.
- Proven expertise in Zscaler & Azure DevOps Boards.
- Proven track record of leading and delivering successful projects using agile methodologies.
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure components, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud platforms.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale automation projects from inception to delivery.
- Expertise in developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy for technology acquisition and integration, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong English language skills, both written and verbal.
