YOUR ROLE
As a Consultant in Industrial Automation at Capgemini, you will be at the core of operations across various industries, including Energy, Life Sciences, Mobility, and High Tech. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Managing stakeholder relationships with clients, Capgemini Engineering, and suppliers to gather requirements and analyze project needs.
- Reviewing and documenting PLC and SCADA software deliveries to ensure adherence to automation standards.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement effective automation solutions on-site and remotely.
- Conducting assessments of client automation systems to identify areas for optimization and improvement.
- Gaining domain-specific knowledge through continuous learning and training to contribute to your success in the role.
YOUR PROFILE
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Experience with PLC, DCS and/or SCADA systems (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, WinCC, Emerson DeltaV, PCS7). Programming experience is important, yet often you are more engaged with reviewing documents and monitoring rather than hands-on development.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage client and supplier relationships, particularly in complex environments.
- A solution-oriented approach to problem-solving, with a focus on optimizing automation processes and ensuring smooth execution.
- A technical background, preferably in industrial automation or a related field, with knowledge of system integration and process automation.
