What you’ll be working on as an Asset Management Engineer

In this role, you will support one of our clients in the aviation industry. Your work is about translating business needs into IBM Maximo solutions. It is not a hands-on role, yet you are using your technical knowledge acting as a bridge between client representatives and vendors who are programming. It is a versatile role, in which you contribute to the design, implementation, testing, and business adoption of the IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) within the Client's Asset Information Management transformation program.

Responsibilities in more detail include:

• Analyze maintenance management processes for Airside, Terminal, Facilities, Security Assets, Fleet Management and related domains.
• Translate business requirements into Maximo functional specifications and user stories. 
• Support the functional design of IBM Maximo Application Suite solutions.
• Define configuration requirements for work management, asset management, preventive maintenance and related Maximo modules.
• Validate system configuration against business requirements.
• Support demonstration sessions and sprint reviews.
• Assist in defect analysis and functional issue resolution. 
• Offer testing support (SIT / UAT)

Your profile

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Technical capabilities of IBM Maximo and the ability to translate business needs into IBM maximo solutions and implementations
• Understanding of maintenance processes / asset management.
• Analytical skills to obtain and understand business requirements, in order to translate them into functional designs, configurations, and technical solutions.
• Basic experience with application configuration, workflows, integrations, APIs, and testing activities.
• Stakeholder management skills (e.g. carry out workshops, processes-to-Maximo translation) and ability to bridge business and IT teams.

• A gross salary between €3.600 and €5.200 per month, including a mobility allowance of €800 and 8% holiday allowance (based on a 40-hour workweek).

Your work environment

With over 200 colleagues, our Manufacturing & Industrial Operations department offers significant and meaningful contributions to various organisations in The Netherlands and occasionally abroad. Our people have expertise in offering partnerships and solutions around industrial automation, smart factory, and data science. Our projects vary tremendously, from upgrading automation systems for a vaccin production line, designing smart sensors based on IoT and cloud technology to reduce food waste, to developing predictive models to optimize warehouse logistics. And sometimes you are working as technical coordinator in large project teams of over 50 colleagues, and at other times you are working on a solution with only two or three other colleagues.
