Job Description

Join Capgemini Engineering Slovakia and become part of our development team focused on building modern solutions. We are looking for a Full Stack Developer who enjoys shaping technical solutions, guiding development teams, and working closely with architects, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software. You will play a key role in defining technical direction, driving best practices, and ensuring scalable and reliable application delivery.
 
Your role: 
  • Design, develop, and maintain modern full-stack applications using Java and modern frontend technologies.
  • Build scalable backend services and REST APIs leveraging Java 21, Spring Boot, and cloud-native architectures.
  • Develop responsive and user-friendly web applications using React and/or Vue.js.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, and fellow engineers to refine requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from solution design and implementation to testing, deployment, and support.
  • Contribute to technical discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance application performance, scalability, and reliability.

Your profile

  • 5+ years of experience in software development with strong expertise in Java ecosystem technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Java 21, Spring Boot and REST API development.
  • Experience developing and deploying applications on Microsoft Azure.
  • Strong frontend development experience with React and/or Vue.js.
  • Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and cloud-native development principles.
  • Experience working with GitHub, Azure DevOps, and Agile development methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a collaborative environment.
