Job Description

We are seeking a skilled SAS Viya 4 Administrator to join our team The ideal candidate will be responsible for the deployment configuration administration and support of the SAS Viya 4 platform in our cloud or onpremises environment This role requires a strong understanding of SAS Viya architecture Kubernetes container orchestration and handson experience with SAS deployment technologies

Key Responsibilities
Deployment Configuration
Deploy and configure SAS Viya 4 environments using the SAS Viya deployment toolsHelm chartsManual method on Kubernetes clusters
Kubernetes Container Management
Manage maintain and troubleshoot the Kubernetes clusters and containerized services hosting SAS Viya 4 components ensuring availability and scalability
System Monitoring Performance
Continuously monitor system performance using tools like Prometheus and Grafana to ensure optimal SAS Viya environment health
Security Administration
Implement and manage SAS Viya security components including authentication LDAPActive Directory integration authorization encryption and audit logging
Backup Recovery
Design implement and validate backup and disaster recovery strategies for SAS Viya 4 critical components ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity
Upgrades Patches
Plan and execute SAS software updates patch installations and version upgrades to maintain a supported and secure platform
User Role Management
Manage Data Governance and Access Controls within SAS Viya using SAS Environment Manager and commandline tools
Automation Scripting
Develop and maintain automation scripts and CICD pipelines for deployment patching and configuration management using tools like Bash Python Ansible Terraform
Crossteam Collaboration
Work closely with Data Engineers Data Scientists Business Analysts and other IT teams to ensure smooth integration deployment and operation of SAS Viyapowered analytics solutions
Documentation Training
Maintain detailed documentation of environments procedures and best practices provide training and support to endusers and team members
Compliance Auditing
Assist in internal and external audits by preparing necessary reports and ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational policies

Skills Required
Technical Expertise
o Strong experience with SAS Viya 4 platform installation administration and troubleshooting
o Deep understanding of SAS Viya architecture and microservices deployment
o Proficiency with Kubernetes administration including pod management namespaces persistent storage PVPVC Helm charts and network policies
o Experience with containerization technologies like Docker
o Strong Linux administration skills RedHat SLES Ubuntu
Cloud and Infrastructure
o Experience with public cloud platforms AWS particularly their Kubernetes services EKS
o Familiarity with infrastructureascode Terraform CloudFormation and configuration management Ansible Puppet
Scripting Automation
o Proficient in at least one scripting language Bash Python
o Strong background in automation of deployment and monitoring workflows
Security
o Experience integrating SAS Viya with identity providers LDAP Active Directory OAuth
o Knowledge of rolebased access control RBAC in Kubernetes and SAS environments
o Understanding of encryption technologies and compliance standards
Monitoring Troubleshooting
o Ability to monitor largescale distributed systems and quickly troubleshoot complex issues
o Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus Grafana ELK Stack for log aggregation
Soft Skills
o Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
o Strong communication and collaboration abilities
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment"

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 102,000 - 112,000

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
