国内最大級の総合スーパーマーケットチェーン向けSAP IS-Retail / S/4HANA Retail 導入・刷新プロジェクトにおいて、
小売業務に対する深い理解とSAP Retailの知見を活かし、デリバリー統括・業務To‑Be設計・チームマネジメント・クライアント対応をリードするポジションです。

食品、日配、惣菜、PB商品を含む高回転・多SKU・多店舗という日本の食品スーパー特有の業務特性を踏まえ、「現場で回り続ける」業務設計をSAPで実現することが期待されます。

【主な業務】

  • ① デリバリー統括(Retail領域リード)

    • 要件定義〜設計〜テスト〜移行までの一連の工程における全体統括
      (品質/スケジュール/コスト管理)
    • 大規模店舗網・複数物流拠点を前提とした展開計画・リスク管理
    • 本番移行における段階導入・業務影響最小化の設計

    ② クライアント対応・業務リード

    • 本部MD部門、物流部門、IT部門、現場代表との折衝
    • 業務課題・制約条件を踏まえた現実的な改善提案
    • 「理想論」ではなく「日々回る業務」を軸とした合意形成

    ③ チームマネジメント

    • Retail領域(MD/価格/補充/店舗業務)における
      10〜30名規模のチーム管理・育成
    • オンショア/オフショア混成体制での成果物品質管理
    • 若手コンサルタントへの業務・Retail知見のトランスファー

    ④ 提案活動(Pre‑sales)

    • 大規模小売企業向けSAP導入・刷新案件の提案書作成
    • 計画立案、スコープ整理、見積、プレゼンテーション

Job Description

Position Overview

This role is responsible for leading SAP IS-Retail / SAP S/4HANA Retail implementation and transformation projects for one of the largest general supermarket chains in Japan. Leveraging deep knowledge of retail operations and strong expertise in SAP Retail, the position leads overall delivery, To‑Be business process design, team management, and client engagement. Given the unique characteristics of Japanese food retail—high inventory turnover, extremely large SKU volumes, and multi‑store operations, including fresh food, daily products, prepared foods, and private‑label items—the role is expected to design and deliver SAP-enabled business processes that operate reliably in real, day‑to‑day retail operations, not just in theory.

Key Responsibilities

1. Delivery Leadership (Retail Domain Lead)

  • Overall responsibility for the end‑to‑end delivery lifecycle, including requirements definition, design, testing, and system migration
    (quality, schedule, and cost management)
  • Deployment planning and risk management for large‑scale store networks and multiple distribution centers
  • Design and execution of phased go‑live strategies to minimize operational impact during production rollout

2. Client Engagement & Business Leadership

  • Primary point of contact for head-office merchandising (MD), logistics, IT teams, and store operation representatives
  • Development of realistic improvement proposals based on business constraints and operational realities
  • Facilitation of stakeholder alignment focused on business processes that function daily, rather than idealized or theoretical models

3. Team Management

  • Management and development of 10–30 member teams across retail domains
    (Merchandising, Pricing, Replenishment, Store Operations)
  • Quality control of deliverables within an onshore/offshore mixed delivery model
  • Knowledge transfer and coaching of junior consultants on retail operations and SAP Retail best practices

4. Pre‑Sales & Proposal Activities

  • Preparation of proposals for SAP implementation and transformation programs for large retail enterprises
  • Planning, scope definition, effort estimation, and client presentations
  • Solution structuring based on Fit‑to‑Standard principles, pragmatically adapted to Japanese retail operating models

5. Business & Solution Design (Critical Responsibility)

  • To‑Be business process design across core retail functions, including:
    Merchandising, Pricing, Replenishment, Store Operations, and Logistics Integration
  • Business process structuring at SKU level, store level, and daily operational cadence
  • Fit/Gap analysis and solution design using SAP S/4HANA Retail components
    (Articles, Assortments, Listings, Pricing, etc.)
  • Definition of operational rules that account for exceptions and demand volatility, such as weather impact, promotions, stock-outs, and supply fluctuations

Candidate Requirements

  • Deep business knowledge of the retail industry (MD, pricing, replenishment, inventory, store operations, etc.)
  • Experience in implementing SAP Retail (IS‑Retail / S/4HANA Retail)
  • Experience managing teams of 10–30 members
  • Practical experience in delivery management (QCD management)
  • Experience in client negotiation, proposal development, and issue coordination
  • Business-level Japanese proficiency」

  • Experience with large-scale SAP implementations at major retail companies
  • Knowledge of peripheral systems such as POS, WMS, and MD planning
