Job Description
Seasoned IT Transformation Leader with a proven track record of driving change in global IT environments. This strategic leadership role requires a deep understanding of Japanese business culture and language, experience in working in a Global service delivery model, and the ability to lead IT transformation at the intersection of technology, operations, and culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Bridge between Japanese and global IT teams, ensuring business objectives are met with sensitivity to Japanese communication styles and decision-making frameworks.
- Contribute to strategic planning at the local and regional IT leadership level, helping shape the roadmap.
- Drive implementation of the Transformation.
- Lead cross-cultural change management efforts, ensuring local buy-in and minimizing disruption.
Experience
- 15+ years of experience in IT leadership roles, with significant time spent in global IT environments running transformation, service delivery, or strategic programs.
- Business-level proficiency in Japanese (spoken and written); able to comfortably operate in formal Japanese business settings.
- Experience working with Global IT delivery teams in India; including in governance.
- Experience working in or with Japanese insurers or international firms operating in Japan.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, TOGAF) are a plus.
- Experience in QA (Testing) is a plus.
