Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a bilingual with strong Level 2 support expertise in Java and AWS Cloud to join our Open Systems Application Management Services team under the Managed Services model, 4 to 5 years of experience in Insurance domain would be a must. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the operational stability and performance of cloud-based applications, while effectively collaborating with Japanese-speaking stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide L2 support for Java-based applications hosted on AWS Cloud.
- Monitor application health, respond to incidents, and resolve service requests within defined SLAs.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with Japanese-speaking clients and internal teams to troubleshoot and enhance application performance.
- Participate in change management, release coordination, and deployment activities.
- Maintain support documentation, operational runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
- Ensure compliance with security, audit, and operational standards.
Required Skills & Experience:
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Java and related frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, etc.).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools, ticketing systems, and incident management processes.
Language Skills:
- Japanese language proficiency at JLPT N4/N3+ level.
- Ability to communicate effectively with Japanese clients and multicultural teams.
Support Skills:
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
- Experience in production support environments.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- AWS certification (Associate or Professional level) is a plus.
- Experience in ITIL-based support environments.
