Job Description

  • Design and deliver SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning solutions for retail finance and operations
  • Translate business planning needs into SAC models, stories, and input templates
  • Ensure consistent KPI definitions and intuitive, user‑friendly planning experiences
  • Configure SAC planning processes including versions, calendars, workflows, and data actions
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, merchandise, and store‑level planning use cases
  • Partner with data teams on data readiness, refresh cycles, and access controls
  • Support UAT, training, hypercare, and continuous improvement

Job Description - Grade Specific

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 6–10+ years of experience in financial planning, analytics, or SAC solution delivery
  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning configuration and design
  • Solid understanding of retail finance and planning processes (budgeting, forecasting, margin, inventory)
  • Proven experience designing SAC stories, models, and data actions for business users
  • Experience supporting testing cycles and business adoption in large programs

Language & Communication Skills

  • Native-level fluency in Japanese and English is good to have
  • Strong ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to finance and business stakeholders

Preferred Skills

  • Experience integrating SAC with SAP S/4HANA, BW, or enterprise data platforms
  • Familiarity with retail merchandise and store planning concepts
  • Experience working in large-scale, SI-led or multi-vendor transformation programs
  • Strong analytical mindset with a focus on usability and business value
