Job Description

  • Support governance of Finance master data including G/L, cost centers, profit centers, and internal orders
  • Configure MDG workflows and validations to meet audit, compliance, and SoD requirements
  • Partner with Finance stakeholders on data standards, naming conventions, and ownership
  • Support Finance UAT, sign‑offs, and change adoption
  • Assist with migration preparation, reconciliation, and cutover readiness
  • Manage data issues across SIT, UAT, and hypercare
  • Produce functional documentation and training content

Job Description - Grade Specific

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 3–6+ years of experience working with SAP MDG, with a focus on Finance (FI) master data
  • Strong understanding of SAP FI master data structures and dependencies
  • Familiarity with audit, compliance, and internal control requirements impacting finance data
  • Experience supporting testing cycles, data migration, and cutover activities
  • Experience working within large-scale SAP or finance transformation programs

Language & Communication Skills

  • Native-level fluency in Japanese and English is good to have
  • Strong ability to communicate governance and control concepts to Finance stakeholders

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance and MDG on S/4HANA
  • Exposure to integration with downstream systems and reporting platforms
  • Familiarity with finance data governance, SoD, and audit frameworks

Experience working in SI-led or multi-vendor delivery environments
