Job Description

• Support governance of Business Partner master data (customer, vendor, franchise)
• Understand business policies and align BP governance controls accordingly
• Configure and support MDG change request workflows, validations, and approvals
• Coordinate data cleansing, enrichment, and cutover activities with business owners
• Support SIT, UAT, defect management, and hypercare
• Collaborate with integration and technical teams on issue resolution
• Prepare functional documentation and training materials

Job Description - Grade Specific

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 3–6+ years of experience working with SAP MDG, with a focus on Business Partner (BP)
• Solid understanding of customer and vendor master data concepts in a retail or consumer environment
• Experience supporting MDG workflows, validations, and testing cycles
• Familiarity with data cleansing, migration, and cutover activities
• Experience working within large-scale SAP or data transformation programs

Language & Communication Skills

• Native-level fluency in Japanese and English is good to have

• Strong stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to explain governance concepts clearly

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Retail landscapes
• Exposure to integration with downstream systems (POS, OMS, eCommerce, analytics)
• Familiarity with data governance and internal control concepts
• Experience working in SI-led or multi-vendor delivery environments
