Job Description

  • Design and implement SAP Datasphere architecture integrating SAP and non‑SAP data sources
  • Define spaces, connectivity, federation, and replication patterns
  • Build a governed semantic layer and reusable data products for analytics and SAC
  • Establish standards for modeling, naming, security, lineage, and monitoring
  • Optimize platform performance and scalability for enterprise reporting
  • Lead build, test, cutover, and go‑live activities
  • Ensure operational handover with documentation and knowledge transfer

Job Description - Grade Specific

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 6–10+ years of experience in data architecture or data platform delivery roles
  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere (or SAP Data Warehouse Cloud)
  • Proven experience integrating SAP and non-SAP data sources in enterprise landscapes
  • Solid understanding of analytical modeling, semantic layers, and data consumption patterns
  • Experience supporting production operations, performance tuning, and platform governance

Language & Communication Skills

  • Native-level fluency in Japanese and English is good to have
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working in retail or consumer-facing industries
  • Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) consumption patterns
  • Exposure to SAP BW/4HANA, SAP CAR, and legacy DWH environments
  • Experience working in large-scale, SI-led or multi-vendor transformation programs
