DATA 部門 - Data Quality Management Specialist

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including IT, business, and external partners.
• Analyze end-to-end data quality operation model.
• Develop and implement data quality standards and best practices
• Work with the Application Development team to implement data strategies, build data flows
• Guide System Analysts, Engineers, Programmers and others on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces
• Discover metadata of the source database, including value patterns and distributions, key candidates, foreign-key candidates, and functional dependencies
• Design logical and physical data models
• Create design documents including FRD
• Generate data quality reports and present findings to stakeholders

Job Description - Grade Specific

Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field, or equivalent experience is ideal
• 5-10 years of relevant experience in system development or business system analyst role
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
• Developing and delivering training programs.
• Experience with key performance indicators (KPIs) for data quality.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of SQL and database management.
• Familiarity with data ingestion and integration processes.
• Familiarity with data profiling and cleansing techniques.
• Familiarity with end-to-end data quality operation model
• Ability to develop and implement data quality standards and best practices.
• Experience with regulatory compliance related to data (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
• Strong data project management skills.
• Good problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to recommend and evaluate new data quality tools and technologies.

Language:

• Japanese: Native
• English: Intermediate (preferred)

• Patient and verbally apt, specific to senior business users
• Able to understand non-technical specification and transform to IT requirements
• Able to adapt to users’ needs but also assertive enough to navigate complex and demanding continuously growing environment
