Job Description
- Lead end‑to‑end delivery of the Data & Analytics workstream within large retail transformation programs
- Align analytics scope, priorities, and milestones to merchandising, supply chain, store operations, and finance outcomes
- Drive governance across business, system integrators, and vendors, managing risks, dependencies, and decisions
- Facilitate workshops to define enterprise KPIs, reporting requirements, and fit‑to‑standard solutions
- Ensure data readiness through validation, reconciliation, and sign‑off across SIT, UAT, cutover, and hypercare
- Act as the primary bridge between business and technical teams
- Strong stakeholder management with JP/EN communication across onshore and offshore teams
Job Description - Grade Specific
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in data & analytics delivery, preferably in large-scale retail or consumer-facing transformations
- Proven experience leading data and analytics workstreams within complex, multi-vendor programs
- Strong understanding of retail data domains (e.g., sales, inventory, supply chain, finance)
- Hands-on experience with data validation, reconciliation, test cycles, and cutover readiness
- Demonstrated ability to manage senior stakeholders and drive decisions in matrix organizations
Language & Communication Skills
- Native-level fluency in Japanese and English is good to have
- Comfortable leading bilingual workshops, steering committees, and cross-border teams
Preferred Skills
- Experience with ERP, data platforms, or cloud analytics solutions
- Familiarity with agile and/or hybrid delivery methodologies
- Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work under ambiguity
