Job Description
- Define target data and AI architecture aligned to retail business priorities and analytics use cases
- Design enterprise integration, data modeling, and semantic layer patterns across SAP and non‑SAP sources
- Establish governance for data quality, lineage, access control, privacy, and compliance
- Shape AI/ML enablement including use‑case intake, model lifecycle, and MLOps
- Leverage SAP BTP and/or hyperscaler platforms for scalable AI solutions
- Design for complex retail ecosystems including POS, OMS, eCommerce, and SAP CAR
- Provide architectural guidance across design, build, test, and deployment
Job Description - Grade Specific
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 8–12+ years of experience in data architecture, analytics architecture, or enterprise architecture roles
- Strong hands-on experience designing data platforms and architectures in SAP-centric environments
- Deep understanding of retail data domains and end-to-end retail processes
- Proven experience establishing data governance, security, and compliance frameworks
- Experience designing or enabling AI/ML use cases at scale within enterprise environments
Language & Communication Skills
- Native-level fluency in Japanese and English is good to have
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SAP BTP services (e.g., Datasphere, Integration Suite, AI/ML services)
- Exposure to hyperscaler-native data and AI platforms
- Familiarity with enterprise data frameworks and reference architectures
- Experience working within large, multi-vendor or SI-led transformation programs
