Job Description
Role Overview:
The Automation Consultant will design, implement, and optimize automation solutions across IT and business processes. This role requires strong technical expertise in Excel automation, Power BI reporting, and ServiceNow dashboard development, along with bilingual proficiency (English and Japanese) for effective stakeholder collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Automation Development:
· Build and deploy automation workflows using RPA tools (UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere).
· Develop and maintain Excel VBA macros and advanced formulas for data processing and reporting.
Data Visualization & Reporting:
· Design and implement Power BI dashboards for operational and business insights.
· Create interactive reports and ensure data accuracy and performance optimization.
ServiceNow Dashboarding:
· Configure and customize ServiceNow dashboards for ITSM and automation monitoring.
· Integrate ServiceNow data with Power BI for unified reporting.
Process Analysis & Documentation:
· Identify automation opportunities and document requirements in English and Japanese.
· Prepare bilingual user guides and training materials.
Stakeholder Engagement:
· Communicate effectively with global and local teams.
· Conduct workshops and training sessions on automation tools and dashboarding.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
· Proficiency in Excel VBA macros and advanced Excel functions.
· Hands-on experience with Power BI dashboard development and DAX queries.
· Experience in ServiceNow dashboard configuration and ITSM workflows.
· Familiarity with RPA tools (UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere).
Language Skills:
· Business-level proficiency in English and Japanese (JLPT N2 or equivalent).
Other Skills:
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Preferred:
· Certifications in Power BI, ServiceNow
