About the job you’re considering
You will be joining a growing and exciting profession of almost 100 PMO, ranging from apprentices starting out on their careers to PMO with many years of experience, all of whom work together to deliver value for our clients, whilst continually sharing knowledge and expertise.

Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time. You will be required to travel to our office based in Telford on average 3 days per week.

Your role
As a PMO Analyst at Capgemini, you will play a pivotal role in supporting project and programme delivery. Operating in a senior PMO analyst role, we’ll be looking for you to demonstrate experience across all PMO competencies while contributing to financial governance, planning, and stakeholder engagement. This position is ideal for an experienced PMO professional looking to get back into their PMO career pathway and seeking to deepen their expertise in a structured and supportive environment.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Effectively applying and managing governance across project engagements
- Supporting project accounting, including month-end closing and purchase order tracking, analysing and challenging financial data
- Managing business operations reporting, including timesheet data, utilisation, financials, efficiency, and compliance metrics, identifying and influencing improvements and efficiencies
- Monitoring project governance and trends, applying the RAID analysis framework to understand and apply a variety of RAID management strategies
- Identifying and implementing efficiencies within delivery support
- Supporting the PMO Manager with various business support tasks and ad hoc duties as assigned by the Delivery Management Team

Your skills and experience

- Experienced in PMO support is essential
- Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; understanding of business operations and processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with confidence working with data
- Experience supporting monthly financial activities such as budget tracking, actuals reconciliation and forecasting
- Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal abilities to facilitate effective collaboration and consensus building among team member and stakeholders
- Highly organised and adaptable, with strong time management, a proactive mindset, and the ability to prioritise and switch between tasks efficiently
- Team-oriented and self-motivated, accountable for delivering high-quality work under pressure in fast-paced environments

You will be supported by assigned sponsors and mentors from the PMO community and encouraged to participate in competency development activities.

Your security clearance
To be successfully appointed to this role you will need to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks.
There are no nationality or residency restrictions, although if you have resided outside of the UK within the last 3 years, further checks may be required.
There are other criteria and check required for BPSS, and throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
