Bid & Relationship Management Graduate

Bid and Relationship Management Graduate

Location: Telford

Intake: September  2027

About the role you're considering

Be part of something bigger from day one, working on real projects, solving real challenges, and shaping your future career while supporting one of Capgemini's largest UK Public Sector clients.

As a Bid & Relationship Management Graduate, you'll have the unique opportunity to develop skills across business development, bid management and client relationship management. Working alongside experienced professionals, you'll support the creation of compelling proposals, contribute to strategic growth opportunities and help build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

You'll gain exposure to the full opportunity lifecycle, from understanding client needs and developing value propositions to supporting bid responses and business development activities. This role offers a strong foundation for graduates looking to build a commercial career within a global consulting and technology organisation.

We're looking for individuals who are curious, proactive and eager to learn. No previous bid writing or relationship management experience is required. Instead, we'll help you develop these skills while applying the transferable experience you've gained through university projects, work experience, internships, volunteering or extracurricular activities. Strong communication skills, attention to detail and an interest in building relationships will help you succeed in this role.

This role is based in Telford, and you'll typically be in the office up to three days per week, so you'll need to be within commuting distance of your chosen location. Due to the nature of the work, you'll be required to attend a secure client site. If the location is not suitable for you, we encourage you to explore our other graduate opportunities across Capgemini's UK locations.

Your role

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, delivery teams and stakeholders to create compelling, client-focused content and solutions.

  • Conduct research into clients, industries and market trends to support business development activities and identify new opportunities.

  • Assist with bid planning, content coordination and the maintenance of supporting materials such as case studies and credentials.

  • Support the development of value propositions that align with client needs and business objectives.

  • Build relationships with stakeholders across Capgemini and develop an understanding of our services, solutions and client landscape.

  • Assist Relationship Managers and Portfolio Leads with client engagement and business development activities.

  • Learn to use AI and digital tools to support research, content development and bid creation.

  • Work both independently and collaboratively within a supportive team environment, contributing to a culture of continuous learning, innovation and shared success.

What you'll bring

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively.

  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • An analytical and curious mindset, with the confidence to ask questions and solve problems.

  • The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

  • An interest in business development, client engagement and creating compelling written content.
