Job Description

  • 3- 5 yrs of experience.
  • Compass (within the Corporate Engineering) supports client's critical business and risk management priorities by monitoring the design implementation and operation of technology to address business needs. 
  • Compass Tools sits within Controls Engineering to automatically assess monitor and report upon the operating effectiveness of key technology controls implemented to manage risk to lient's technology assets and services. 
  • This is an individual contributor role responsible for building a platform for automated Monitoring Routines. 
  • The individual will work in a cross-functional pod closely with Control Analysts and Product management to design develop and maintain critical technology and operational assets to support enterprise-wide automated Monitoring Routines.
  • ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Engage with Analysts for understanding platform requirements.
  • Experience on any scripting languages like Java Python or Angular Develop software artifacts using Agile methodology and extend ownership by providing production support.
  • EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: Required Bachelor s degree in computer science or a related discipline or equivalent work experience required 3-5 years of experience as Automation Tester, Should be well versed/comfortable with the following technology stack tools and processes:
  • Selenium web drivero GIT 
  • Continuous integration 
  • Gitlab Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools to support continuous integration and delivery. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers business analysts and project managers to understand testing requirements and develop test plans.
  • Design develop and execute automated test cases to ensure software applications meet functional performance and security requirements. 
  • Analyze test results identify defects and work with development teams to resolve issues. 
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in automation testing and share knowledge with the team. 
  • Participate in code and design reviews to ensure that testing solutions are scalable maintainable and meet performance and security requirements. 
  • Develop and maintain documentation for testing frameworks tools and processes. 
  • Contribute to the development of testing strategies and methodologies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of testing efforts. 
  • Be conversant with GIT usage and operations. 
  • Ability to work with CI/CD practices and tools.
Works in the area of Software Engineering, which encompasses the development, maintenance and optimization of software solutions/applications. 1. Applies scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems. 2. He/she is responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge, in research, design, development and maintenance. 3. His/her work requires the exercise of original thought and judgement and the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers. 4. The software engineer builds skills and expertise of his/her software engineering discipline to reach standard software engineer skills expectations for the applicable role, as defined in Professional Communities. 5. The software engineer collaborates and acts as team player with other software engineers and stakeholders.
