Your role

We are seeking a seasoned Telco Security IP Network Architect to lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and high-performance IP network solutions tailored for telecommunications environments. This strategic role demands deep expertise in telco-grade security architecture, hybrid cloud integration, and mobile core network design.

You will play a key role in:

  • Architecture Development: Design modular and extensible IP network architectures using L3 DC fabric spine-leaf topology and DCI gateway models to support telco-specific workload domains (e.g., OSS/BSS, control/user planes).
  • Security Design & Risk Assessment: Conduct detailed security risk assessments for mobile core and data centre environments, addressing threats such as lateral movement, segmentation failure, and compliance gaps.
  • Firewall & Access Control: Architect perimeter and internal firewall solutions using platforms like Fortinet, and implement micro-segmentation strategies using VRFs, VLANs, and EVPN-VXLAN overlays.
  • Hybrid Cloud Integration: Design secure zoning and high-availability integrations across hybrid cloud platforms, ensuring alignment with workload types and compliance standards.
  • Documentation & Governance: Maintain comprehensive documentation for IP and firewall designs, including deviation handling procedures and approval workflows in line with Infosec policies.

Your profile

  • 15+ years of experience in Telco IP network architecture and security.
  • Proven expertise in mobile core, transport architecture, and zero-trust security models.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco ACI, Fortinet firewalls, and SIEM integration strategies.
  • Strong understanding of hybrid cloud security, workload isolation, and segmentation techniques.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Certifications such as CCNP Security, CISSP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
