Senior Software Platform Lead - Duck Creek & Azure

Your role

As a Senior Software Platform Lead will drive the architecture, design, and reengineering of a core insurance platform, with a strong focus on Duck Creek implementation and modern cloud-native engineering on Azure. This is a hands-on leadership role combining solution architecture, platform modernization, and deep technical delivery ownership, with emphasis on scalable integration, data-driven platforms, and engineering best practices

  You will play a key role in:

• Define and own target state architecture for a Duck Creek-based insurance platform (Policy, Billing, Claims)
• Lead platform reengineering and modernization initiatives focusing on scalability, performance, and maintainability
• Design cloud-native architectures leveraging Azure services (Function Apps, Synapse, integration services)
• Establish architecture standards, design principles, and governance frameworks across engineering teams
• Act as a hands-on technical lead, contributing to development using .NET / C#
• Design and build Azure-based services (Function Apps, APIs, event-driven components)
• Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and secure development practices
• Lead implementation of complex integration scenarios across enterprise systems
• Drive adoption of cloud-native engineering practices (microservices, serverless, API-first)
• Lead DevOps enablement (CI/CD pipelines, automation, GitOps practices)
• Architect and implement data platforms leveraging Azure Synapse and modern pipelines
• Design scalable integration patterns (API-led, event-driven, batch processing)

Your profile

• 12+ years of software engineering and platform delivery experience
• Strong hands-on expertise in .NET / C# development
• Proven experience with Microsoft Azure, including:
• Azure Function Apps
• Azure Synapse Analytics
• API Management / integration services
• Strong knowledge of microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Platform & Domain Expertise (Mandatory)
• Proven experience delivering Duck Creek-based solutions (Policy, Billing, Claims)
• Strong understanding of insurance domain processes
• Experience with policy administration, underwriting, claims, and billing systems
• Demonstrated experience in large-scale platform implementation or transformation programs
